The Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals hold three fundraisers a year. These fundraisers, along with individual donations, allow us to continue with our work of spay/neuter for the Dogs and Cats of Horseshoe Bend.

Buddy Bass Tournament

Box Hound Marina on Crown Lake in Horseshoe Bend has sponsored the Buddy Bass Tournament for 26 years. Beginning in April, 2013, the Friends of HBA has benefited from the tournament with the fees of boats entered donated to our Spay/Neuter Fund.

Sweetheart Bowl for the Animals

Beginning in July, 2013, Horseshoe Bend Lanes has sponsored the Bowl for the Animals Bowling Tournament with proceeds going to the Friends. A Friends Bake Sale, 50/50 Raffle, and Quilt Raffle also are held during the tournament. In 2016, the tournament moved to February, and became our Sweetheart Bowl for the Animals.

Harvest Bake Sale and Bazaar

Our Harvest Bake Sale and Bazaar, a major fundraiser for the group, was started in 2014, and we hope to watch it grow bigger and better each year. With a silent auction, craft sale, bake sale and our year-end quilt raffle, it offers something for everyone!

Loving Tribute

The Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals’ Loving Tribute is a wonderful way to remember an important occasion: birthday, anniversary, or the loss of a very special person or pet.  Show someone you care, not only for them, but for the animals as well.

For a donation of $20 or more, the Friends will send a card to the person designated acknowledging that a donation  has  been made on their behalf.  We will also forward a thank you to the donor.

Every dollar donated enables us to fund and continue our many programs of providing help and assistance.
