Community

Through our 20 years, the Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals have helped dogs and cats in many ways, and we continue to do so. By being a visible presence in the community, we are able to reach those who need us the most.

Vaccination clinics, sponsored by Friends of HBA, have been held in Horseshoe Bend since 2014 with vaccinations given by Thousand Hills Vet Clinic, Dr. Nanci and Homer Solis.  Many dogs and cats have been brought in by their owners to take advantage of the low-cost clinics held directly in locations in Horseshoe Bend.

Each year, Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals has an information booth at Dogwood Days. There are handouts about our low-cost spay/neuter program, information about upcoming events, and ways to help the Dogs and Cats of Horseshoe Bend.

Community Food Bank

Helping people in the community keep their pets is an important part of our outreach program. Each month, Friends of HBA provide pet food to the Community Outreach Food Bank for distribution to those who need a “little help from their Friends”.

Loving Tribute

The Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals’ Loving Tribute is a wonderful way to remember an important occasion: birthday, anniversary, or the loss of a very special person or pet.  Show someone you care, not only for them, but for the animals as well.

For a donation of $20 or more, the Friends will send a card to the person designated acknowledging that a donation  has  been made on their behalf.  We will also forward a thank you to the donor.25

Every dollar donated enables us to fund and continue our many programs of providing help and assistance.

Donate more than $20 : Loving Tribute

If you would prefer to print the form and mail a check, please print out this Loving Tribute form and send to the address listed in the document.
